Retreats

Ocean Alchemy offers a couple of different kinds of retreats. All of which connect healing and energy work with our relationship to nature. Some retreats are more focused on leadership and more physical expressions in the world. Others are more oriented toward personal and group work.

About Us

Rachel Kirkham Founder & CEO of Ocean Alchemy

I was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario and even as a child my desire to connect to the ocean was strong. I’ll never forget my first experience of stepping onto an ocean beach at the age of twelve in Cocoa Beach, Florida.

The call of the Ocean eventually led me to move to Halifax NS. I found myself at the beach a lot and learned to surf. I became obsessed with the sport and that desire expanded into spending a few years living on the shore and teaching others to surf. I oriented my whole life around the ocean.

Ocean Alchemy was born when I started working in the Akashic records with clients. These were very humble beginnings living in an off-grid cabin on the Eastern Shore. Currently, I blend my skills as an intuitive healer and mentor and work with those who are seeking a deeper expression of their own dharma and mission in the world.

Christine Stortini Co Founder & CEO of Ocean Minded

Dr. Stortini is a Marine Biologist from Northern Ontario, who studied and worked for many years in Halifax Nova Scotia. Her work has covered a wide range of topics including sea bird conservation, marine turtle conservation, Marine Protected Area design, climate change vulnerability and adaptation, island biogeography, ecosystem structure and regime shifts, youth education, and public outreach.

As a Marine Biologist, surfer, scuba diver, and swimmer, Stortini is passionate about the Ocean, protecting it, and spreading awareness about its beauty and importance. She is currently working as a biologist on projects related to assessing species’ and ecosystems’ vulnerability to climate change, while also raising awareness through her company, Ocean Minded Education.

We are honoured to help guide you on your Ocean connection and leadership journey.
