“ I create works derived from my Scottish and Acadian ancestral life through the lens of memory, land, distortion and re-imagination. My intention with my work is to shift how conventional landscapes are portrayed and, instead, enter a realm of curiosity through an innate connection to land and nature. “

The Five Stones is an Oracle Deck created by Rachel Solomon and designed by Jacqueline.

The 64-card deck began as an exploration at the Bay of Fundy and evolved into first 64 stones, then 64 symbols, and into 9 layers of design on each card that represent that varying, subtle earth elements. The four suits in the deck reflect the themes of Awakening, Root, Depth and Shadow. Together, they form an opportunity to find new perspectives outside of our limited minds.
